AWN
Animal Welfare Network
Located in Carenage, AWN is a registered charity and network of volunteers within Trinidad & Tobago who joined together in 2000 to pool resources to benefit animals in their local communities. Focused on preventing and relieving the suffering of animals through its Animal Welfare Education Programme and our nationwide Spaying and Neutering Programme. Although rescuing and rehoming animals is not our focus, we do assist with rescues, especially in cases where animals are distressed, in danger or injured. AWN does not operate a shelter and while we will do our best to rescue, heal, temporarily house and find forever homes for rescued animals, this is not always possible, and animals may have to be euthanized. Please be guided accordingly.
